The KitchenAid Mixer That Cuts ‘Baking Time in Half’ Is Selling Out Fast, and It's $139 Off

I have longed for a KitchenAid Stand Mixer for as long as I can remember. And while my cursor has hovered over the ‘add to cart’ button on more than one occasion, I haven’t thought seriously about purchasing my own model until today. 

The baker-loved kitchen brand discounted its 7-Quart Bowl-Lift Stand Mixer with Pastry Beater for over $100 off at QVC. The multi-function appliance does it all, too: You can mix, knead, whip, and so much more. This large capacity iteration also offers 11 different speeds, and it has enough power and space to handle larger batches. It can make up to 13 dozen cookies at a time, knead over 8.5 pounds of bread, and mash up to 7.5 pounds of potatoes. According to shoppers, this cuts their “bake time in half.”

Though it’s still pricey, the now-$500 mixer comes with attachments that are usually sold separately, including a double flex edge beater, pastry beater, wire whisk, and pouring shield to save you even more money. The three-point locking bowl ensures an accident-free baking experience, while the hefty 25-pound appliance makes it sturdier than other standing mixers.

The KitchenAid mixer has dozens of glowing reviews and a near-perfect 4.9-star rating. It’s safe to say that shoppers are obsessed. One person admitted that they were “a bit intimidated at first” by the “fancy” design, but said that they quickly got the hang of it thanks to its “top notch” quality. Other customers raved about the motor, which boasts “twice the power” of other tilt-head mixers, and noted that the half-speed option is “greatly appreciated” for slowly folding in ingredients like flour. Though it’s one of the brand’s larger stand mixers, a third reviewer said that it’s “surprisingly compact when compared to other models.”
